For demanding clients personalization is the key word of the moment. For Axor, like any other living area, the bathroom has its own, completely special requirements. In our modern life the bathroom becomes more and more a place of tranquility and contemplation, of security and unfolding – a projection of our needs, wishes and dreams. To this end Axor commissioned the gifted Patricia Urquiola , a Spanish architect and designer.
Patricia designed a suite of bath components for unpredictable characters. Axor Urquiola’s 29 components share a penchant for gentle, sensual curves. Linking past and present, Urquiola mimicked the profile of an antique washtub for a freestanding bathtub, and then repeated the shape in sinks mounted on counter or wall. All three are molded from a polyester-coated mineral composite, with space-saving integrated towel holders. The Flexible brass thermostatic faucet assemblies, offered in chrome or polished nickel, come in seven models for sinks, five for tubs, and two each for shower and bidet. An extensive assortment of accessories overlooks no detail, right down to the toothbrush tumbler.

Hi All,

Take a look at the new invention of ROCA, a Spanish company which produces really cool and well-designed products for the bathroom. But its not just the nice design that got my attention:

Their new “W+W” (Wash-basin+Water-closet) helps saving water! Its renovation system filters the waste-water from the basin and reuses it in the discharge of the cistern.
